Simon Costigan

Club Vice Chairman and Treasurer

Born in Preston in 1972. Passionate about developing young players to be the best they can be, and I'm determined to give the club the financial stability to achieve its ambitions.

My personal philosophy is to put the person before the player and truly seek to understand what is important to that individual. I believe we as coaches have a duty to develop, open, honest and hardworking young people who are happy to be held accountable and who in turn will go on to be a success in whichever field they decide to pursue. Focussing purely football I believe it my accountability to create an environment where players can express themselves without the fear of failure or the ridicule of mistakes and that they enjoy playing for me as coach & the club.

I am also currently working to attain my FA Level 2 Coaching Qualification.
